Where light meets metal. In Varberg

At Belid’s seaside factory in Varberg, every Buddy begins as a flat aluminium disc and is formed through press spinning in two stages. First, the soft silhouette emerges. Then the lower edge is shaped while the lamp is held floating in the air, a careful step that demands experience and a steady hand.

Once the form is complete, each Buddy is hand sanded to smooth even the smallest imperfection before lacquering. The sanding is a craft in its own right, and the foundation of the mirror like surface that defines the collection.

The result is a table lamp where light, form and function are perfectly balanced, made to last for years to come.
