The design concept behind Hotel Draken was to create a theatrical, immersive atmosphere that evokes the feeling of stepping onto a grand stage. Every light fixture plays a part in this narrative, enhancing materials, colors, and spatial flow throughout the hotel.

We collaborated closely with the project’s design teams to ensure that each luminaire supports the emotional and architectural intentions of the interior, from reception to restaurant to room.

Our contribution included both standard models adapted to the project and entirely bespoke designs developed specifically for the Draken experience.

In the restaurant Vågen

We created custom versions of our timeless globe pendant, combining opal glass and genuine brass in multiple sizes and configurations. These luminaires provide soft, inviting illumination while reinforcing the tactile material palette.

In the hotel rooms

Each of the 474 rooms features our Tyson wall lamp, which was uniquely adapted for the project with a new, exclusive color finish. The lamp provides a balance of ambient and functional lighting, tailored for the guest experience.

On the 33rd floor – Brasserie Draken

We designed and produced industrial-inspired brass lamps that complement the brasserie's warm and refined interior. The luminaires' minimalist form and materiality bring elegance to the panoramic views and intimate lighting conditions of the top floor.

All lighting fixtures were designed, prototyped, and manufactured in our factory in Varberg, Sweden. Our full in-house production capabilities allowed for:
