Lighting for Modern Workspaces with Historic Soul

Our mission was to create an office environment that feels warm, inviting, and inspiring – a workplace where lighting enhances productivity, comfort, and atmosphere. In close collaboration with Lund+Slaatto Architects, who led the interior design, we helped translate Linstow’s vision into reality through well-crafted light.

Belid contributed with both standard and custom lighting solutions, all designed and manufactured in our own factory in Varberg, Sweden.

To meet the demands of a modern office while aligning with the building’s materials and architectural rhythm, we used a combination of spotlights and pendant lights from Belid and our Danish friends at Herstal:

• Tyson spotlights deliver efficient and flexible lighting, helping to define corridors and circulation zones with clarity and elegance.
• Pendant luminaires including Magnum, Dolores, Mir, Ballon, and Manola were selected to add warmth and softness to shared areas, meeting spaces, and lounges – enhancing the acoustic and spatial qualities of each room.

Each fixture was chosen not only for its visual appeal, but also for its energy efficiency, timeless form, and compatibility with contemporary workspace needs.

One of Belid’s key strengths in workplace projects is the ability to tailor luminaires to the needs of the architecture and the client. With in-house prototyping, flexible production and close cross-functional collaboration, we were able to deliver a solution that feels unified and refined across every part of the office.

The result is a workplace that successfully combines historical depth and modern light. The lighting helps to shape spaces that feel calm and welcoming, while providing the functional performance needed for professional environments.
