Inspired by the horizon of Sweden’s westcoast, we at Belid have designed a lighting collection that captures that magical moment – just before the sun sets. Horisont is made to bring a sense of balance, warmth, and presence to anyroom. A Swedish-made lamp in true Scandinavian design – for those seeking more than just lighting.

With its gently curved metal shades and atmospheric glow, Horisont carries a strong sense of character. This is a modern classic rooted in Nordic design tradition. Whether you choose a pendant, table, or floor lamp, Horisont becomes a natural part of your home – enhancing the mood and adding timeless elegance.



Horisont is the result of designer Joakim Fihn’s vision – a contemporary interpretation of the shoemaker’s lamp from the 1920s and ’30s, known for its conical shape and functional aesthetics. Here, nostalgia meets clean modern lines and a warm, harmonious light – in a form that feels just as relevant today as it will tomorrow.


Each Horisont lamp is crafted in our own factory in Varberg, where modern technology meets traditional craftsmanship. Our skilled artisans work meticulously on every detail – from the first sketch to the finished product. We use carefully selected materials and produce responsibly, with care for both quality and the environment.

One detail that makes Horisont unique is its mouth-blown glass. This is a craft in itself – where the molten glass is shaped with precision to achieve just the right balance and light diffusion. The clear yet soft contours are the result of experience, artistry, and a pursuit of perfection.


For us, local production is about more than just quality – it’s a core value. Every lamp that leaves our factory carries something greater: a sense of longevity, sustainability, and Scandinavian pride. Belid lighting is made to last – and to be loved for generations.

Created with inspiration and rooted in both Belid's history and the coastal location of Varberg, this lamp embodies a contrasting and well-balanced design. Featuring strictly streamlined screens, mouth-blown glass, and a hovering top detail, it forms a unity that is both classic and modern. The horizontal lines in its design evoke the awe-inspiring horizon of the open sea, giving the lamp an almost floating top detail.

With a diameter of 43 cm and a height of 10.6 cm, it comes equipped with four integrated LED light sources with a total power of 19 watts. Producing 1200 lumens and a color temperature of 2700, it creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the room. The lamp comes with a 3-meter-long cable and hook suspension for easy installation. With an IP rating of 20 and insulation class I for added safety, it fits perfectly in your kitchen or living room, and every time you gaze upon it, it provides the sensation of being by the sea.
